06 Theatre is an independent theatre company founded in Sharjah (Area Code 06) in 2025 by a happy accident and fiercely independent artists. It is a quiet revolution in storytelling:

We’re bringing back rapture in an age of distraction, nuanced social commentary in a room of hollow echoes, and a sense of play to a morose world.

We believe:
Dreams come true with the right people. Gathering isn’t enough; the conditions under which we gather matter. Good art pays and creates ripples. Work is challenging, not hard. It is possible to be fiercely independent and well-established.

What we’re doing:

• We’re rewriting the unwritten guidelines of engagement, with the understanding that it transforms how we relate to one another.

• We’re building independently with integrity. We only partner with people/institutions whose values we align with.

• We’re building imitable infrastructure outside rigid unyielding boring systems of power.
